All the dogs below are retired from the Southern Inferno breeding program. They are exceptional dogs whom have proven themselves time and time again and have earned the right to live out their days as lazy house dogs.
Legacy is truly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. Extremely affectionate and just an all around lover. Legacy has been a great producer with countless proven catch dogs and multiple titled conformation, shutzhound, and weight pull offspring. She has certainly earned her place as a lazy house dog.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one who never deserts him, and the one that never proves ungrateful, is his dog…
These are some of some of Southern Inferno's best dogs, it was an honor and privilege to hunt with these amazing dogs...
Champ has been one of those once in a lifetime kind of dogs. Exceptional working dog and an even better companion. I have been through a lot with this dog and he has always been right there by my side. He is a little older and grayer now, but he still shows an undeniable devotion and love that even years can't stop.
Hemi is one of the most physically impressive dogs I have seen. Hard working, powerful, driven and just downright beautiful. The years haven't slowed her down one bit. She still gives her all with anything she does.
Thor was one of our best Catahula bay dogs. He was goofy, and sometimes clumsy but he was a dang good dog. With an incredible hunting style, there was never any doubt that he could find a hog. He will be greatly missed.
"If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went." - Will Rogers
Coon will always go down in Southern Inferno's history as one of the most amazing dogs we have ever had the pleasure of hunting with. It didn't matter what the circumstances were, when he hit the ground it was go time, and a hog was always found. He is truly missed, there will never be another one like him.
"Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. They serve us in return for nothing. It is without a doubt, the best deal man has ever made. " - Roger Caras
The raw talent Jack had was something truly remarkable. Could always rely on him to get something going no matter where we dropped out at. One of the toughest things to go through as a hog hunter is to raise up a dog from a pup, see it mature and develop, become a phenomenal hunter and then be taken too soon. He is a great loss not just to my pack, but me personally. Thankfully he went out in style and doing what he loved. Keep on hunting boy! You are missed beyond words...
